Ping Identity

Overview

Idem is a registered Ping Identity partner. Ping sits at the centre of most of our delivery work, and the partnership keeps that work close to the product rather than at arm's length from it.

For clients, the practical effect is that Ping platform delivery, architecture, and advisory come from a partner inside Ping's ecosystem — not from a firm assembling the capability project by project.

The platforms

PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (PingOne AIC) is Ping's cloud identity platform, and the target state for most organisations moving off a self-managed identity estate. We work across the full lifecycle: cloud readiness assessment, migration design, tenant architecture, journey implementation, and the operating model that keeps the platform maintainable once it is live.

Ping Advanced Identity Services (Ping AIS) covers the deployments that need to stay in your own environment — for data residency, regulatory, or integration reasons. The engineering approach is the same; the deployment model is not.

Both are treated as engineered systems, with configuration managed as code rather than applied by hand.

How we deliver Ping

Ping gives you a leading identity platform. We bring the engineering practice that lets you get the most out of it — applied consistently across both:

  • Configuration as code: identity configuration held in version control, reviewed like software, and promoted through environments in a controlled sequence
  • CI/CD for identity: pipelines that build, test, and deploy identity configuration, so changes are repeatable and reversible instead of hand-applied
  • Structured environments: local development and testing that let engineers work safely before anything reaches a shared tenant
  • Tested journeys: authentication and registration journeys built with automated test coverage, so a change to one flow does not quietly break another

The result is a platform you can keep changing with confidence, release after release.

Where this matters most

The organisations that get the most from this are the ones with the least room for error: banks, insurers, and other regulated businesses where identity is both business-critical and subject to external scrutiny.

Those environments need change to be auditable, reversible, and evidenced. An engineered delivery model gives you that as a property of how the platform is built, rather than as documentation assembled after the fact.
